Saturday May 6th the Friends of Black Bayou will be selling grilled sausage lunches outside Brookshire's N 18th Street for only $5!

A little birdie has told us .... the date for the annual Friends of Black Bayou Lake NWR Fall Celebration has been decided!  Mark your calendars for Saturday, October 14, 2017 from 10AM to 3PM and get ready for a wonder-filled, fun day at the refuge.  Make plans to attend.

As always, there will be food, games, canoe trips, education, and winning photos on display from the Photo Contest, and lots more.
