FWS is starting a new Refuge Krewe!
Next month we will be starting a new volunteer training program, recruiting people for the Refuge Krewe! If you want to learn more and help protect refuge and enjoy talking with people, we can use your help. Training will start either Sept 26th or Sept 28th. Details below and you can email [email protected] if you have questions or want to sign up.

Monthly Friends Meeting – Sponsored by Ouachita Valley ACS September 18th at 6:30pm
This month’s Friends of Black Bayou meeting at the Visitor's Center will be sponsored by the Ouachita Valley of American Chemical Society. Kristopher Kelley will present on nutrient flow in the water shed in addition to all the other neat updates on the happens at Black Bayou. Come visit with new Friends and find out more!
